Our Story 

From humble beginnings in a small shop in Charlottesville, VA, Gropen has evolved and grown since 1982, adding services and capabilities to meet the expanding needs of our clients. 2018 was a milestone year, marking our move into a new, state-of-the-art, 30,000 square foot facility in the foothills of Monticello. Specifically designed and built to house our entire operations, this new facility will provide capacity for continued growth and superior product for years to come.

Led by President T.J. Ronayne, our team includes a wide range of skills and experiences which allow us to tackle any challenge. Our design staff includes degrees in industrial design and fine arts. Our skilled craftsmen offer expertise in woodworking, welding, printing, and all other forms of custom fabrication.

We believe in the importance of building and nurturing valued relationships within our community and beyond.
